Domestic (North America)

Our onshore domestic drilling team has drilled in basins in all corners of North America. With field operational experience in excess of 10 years, our domestic drilling team specializes in shale formations, HPHT Wells, underbalance drilling and horizontal drilling with tight target zone windows. Operational success is determined by how many days we deliver the well under AFE.

Our projects for 2012-2013 include:

  • Eagle-ford 17,500MD delivered 8.25 days 14 hour curve (Halliburton Platinum Drill Team)
  • Eagle-ford overall average AFE was lower from 28 days
  • 17 days to include: McMullen, La Salle, Dewitt, Gonzales, Lavaca, Live Oak. -Eagle-ford performance 64 wells delivered all horizontals with zero topside operation inefficiencies. (3-String, 2-String, Patch set pad work and singles)
  • Permian 13,574MD vertical Wolf-camp 7.6 days Record
  • Woodbine operational optimization and well planning field record 14 day well delivery on a 45 day AFE.
  • Followed by a 17 day well delivery and repeat performance. Solved production holes issues while running casing which increase overall well delivery.

Working in different markets and host countries around the world requires not only experts in drilling and completing shale gas wells, but also a team that is familiar with operating a complex project in a foreign land. Partners In Drilling can provide this.

We will only recommend sub-contractors who have the knowledge and ability to work in a specified host country (many of our projects utilize +/- 70% of the drilling and completion team from within the project country itself) and we rigorously ensure that the best equipment and practices are used throughout the process.
